Episode 6: "The Riker Maneuver"
Thursday Jan 18, 2018
Thursday Jan 18, 2018
Welcome back dear listeners for another episode - this cast we discuss tempo in guild ball - what it is, how to recognize when you are gaining it (or losing it) and how to use that information to win games. Additionally, we discuss Riker's internet noteriety for his "clock is the #1 win condition" truism, and discuss how true it really is. Lastly, we answer questions from the Guild Ball discord wank dungeon, maker of only the most unholy guild ball memes.

Episode 5: Chaotic Awesome

2018 is here, and with that is a fresh year of awesome Guild Ball to look forward to! The topic of the day is (unabashedly stolen from NPR): chaos/disorder in guild ball, what is it and how to embrace it to potentially improve your game. Not sure if we hit the mark on this one, but oh well. Check out; https://www.npr.org/2016/11/29/503594516/in-praise-of-mess-why-disorder-may-be-good-for-us for an interesting discussion of the topic in general. We also venture deep into the Dungeon for some listener questions, diving into great topics such as: current meta tier lists (yay), what factions we are committing to for the new year, etc. Hopefully the majority of audio issues have been fixed.

Steamcon US has come and gone, and with it, many awesome memories. As the year comes to a close, we discuss some changes, as begin some new chapters in our GB lives. Look for a recap of the event, brief discussion on how to choose a new guild for competitve play, and of course answer questions with way to many inside references/jokes coming from a bunch? Herd? Pride? Murder? of Kiwis. Apologies for some slight initial audio quality issues at the start.
